SIR — It’s already started, with Waitrose up and running, their staff have taken to parking just inside the Fromond Road turning.
All it takes is a car to park on the opposite side and no public service vehicle can get by.
Would it take a resident to take action (as in the case of Stanmore) to get Waitrose to provide parking for their own staff?
Even if the council places double yellow lines, these people will move to park further within the estate. Where are the local parish councillors, and the other councillors, and why is it that people have to suffer?
Let’s also stop people using this area to park their cars when wanting to use their free bus passes to get into town.
Either drive into town, or get the bus from your own parish.
David Wyatt, Bradley Road, Harestock.
