CYCLISTS with a passion for history are being urged to take part in 50-mile bike ride.
Hyde900, a 2010 festival to celebrate the anniversary of King Alfred’s burial in the Winchester, is putting on the event on Sunday, May 17.
The route runs between Wantage in Oxfordshire and Winchester, the respective birth and resting places of the king.
