A HORSE died yesterday evening (Sunday) after straying onto the A34 north of Winchester.
It was in collision with an estate car just north of Bullington Cross around 9pm on the southbound section of the carriageway.
In the tailbacks that followed a four-car collision occurred. No one was seriously injured in either incident.
