A £1m funding initiative is being launched to support projects working to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
The scheme, led by police and crime commissioner (PCC) Donna Jones, will benefit communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including Winchester and Test Valley, through the Safer Communities Fund (SCF).
This year’s funding round will focus on reducing abuse, violence and exploitation, particularly against women and girls, as well as tackling serious violence, anti-social behaviour and reoffending.

Ms Jones said: "The safety of people living and working across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight is my number one priority which is why I’ve continued to put more police officers on our streets.
"But the services local organisations provide are vital in helping us achieve that.
"Working alongside the police, they offer invaluable support and education to communities."
Last year, 47 projects across the two counties received funding through the SCF.
In many cases contact with police has reduced, participants have found employment, improved their behaviour and communication skills and are spending more time in school.
Applications close on October 16, 2026 and successful applicants will receive funding from April 1, 2027.
More information and application details are available on the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner website.
