A HAMPSHIRE man is set to face trial next year after pleading not guilty to handling a stolen caravan.

Robert Stokes, of Carousel Park, Micheldever, near Winchester, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on August 27.

According to the court record, the caravan in question was an Elddis Magnum 540 belonging to Robert Madge valued at £15,465.

Stokes pleaded not guilty to the offence.

A trial date was given for a flexible list, previously known as a warned list.

This means it will be held in a two-week period from August 31 next year. The trial is set to last around two days.

Stokes was released on unconditional bail.
