Boomtown 2026 Chapter Five: Radical Redesign has ended after an electrifying closing ceremony.

Boomtown Festival returned to the Matterley Estate, between August 12 and August 16, with headline acts including Kneecap, Madness, Four Tet, Scissor Sisters and Skrillex.

The closing ceremonies took place at 11.47pm on Sunday, August 16, on The Lion’s Den stage and the Hydro XL stage, with the two coordinated simultaneously.

The performance included a video feed with timed special-effects pyrotechnics and flames, a song, and dancers.

At the end of the ceremony, Boomtown revealed next year's theme: Chapter Six- Wild Style.

Words on the stage said: “Believe a better future can be lived because you live it here. A better future can be shared because we share it here

“What if in the vastness of space and time there is nowhere better suited to us all than here. Beautiful, fragile, miraculous.

“Life is rare, spread love beyond time and space.”

This is the first time the Lion’s Den stage has been used since the COVID pandemic, with the closing ceremony garnering thousands of attendees after headliners Faithless finished their set.
