A new application has been submitted for an alcohol licence in Romsey.

Selvi Selvaraj has applied for a new premises licence at 1 & 2 Abbey Walk, Church Street.

If granted, the licence would allow the sale of alcohol every day from 6am to midnight.

The licence would allow for alcohol to be sold for consumption off the premises.

Residents wishing to respond to the application can write to the licensing manager at Test Valley Borough Council.

Responses must outline the nature and grounds of their representation and must be submitted by Tuesday, August 18.

The council has warned that making a false statement in connection with the application is an offence and could result in an unlimited fine.

The application was made on Wednesday, July 22 and can be viewed at the licensing authority's office at Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, during normal office hours.
