A hospice charity has unveiled a fresh identity as part of a major rebrand.

Naomi and Jack’s, formerly Naomi House & Jacksplace, celebrated its new name and branding at a launch party in Sutton Scotney, marking a new chapter for the charity as it seeks to reach more families and raise greater awareness of its work.

The rebrand follows a consultation with more than 9,000 people, which revealed widespread misconceptions about the charity and what it offers.

Mark Smith, chief executive of Naomi and Jack’s, said: "As we approach our 30th anniversary in 2027, we want to reach more families, offer more support, and raise the funds needed to deliver the services and plans that matter most.

"The rebrand is a significant milestone on that journey – a signal of our ambition and our belief in what we can achieve together.

"This brand belongs to all of us, and I’m excited for what comes next as we continue to grow, evolve, and make a difference for the families, children and young adults that we serve."

The launch party was attended by staff and friends of the charity, including patrons and trustees, who heard first-hand about the huge advantages that the new branding would bring and plans for the future.

Guests were treated to music from the Second Wind brass band, and watched Mr Smith drive one of the charity’s newly branded vans along the driveway to showcase the ‘first look’.

The event also included speeches, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and refreshments provided by Naomi and Jack’s catering team.

Naomi and Jack’s opened its doors nearly 30 years ago, and its services have grown as it now cares for more than 600 families.

However, charity leaders said its brand and public identity had not kept pace with the growth and evolution of its services, prompting the need for change.

The rebrand aims to clarify the charity’s purpose and support fundraising by helping it stand out and connect with more families in need.

The new name also reflects big changes to break down misconceptions and barriers, allowing more local babies, children, young adults and families to access its services.

Naomi and Jack’s team said they hope the rebrand will break down barriers, raise awareness and reflect its breadth of services.

The charity looks forward to building on nearly three decades of experience and reaching even more families in the years ahead.
