Airline easyJet has announced a new route from Southampton Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, offering travellers a fresh connection to the French capital from this winter.

The service will launch on October 25 and operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, providing options for both short breaks and longer stays.

Seats are already on sale, with fares starting from £28.99.

The new route follows the airline’s earlier introduction of flights to Paris Orly and is part of its wider strategy to expand regional connectivity.

Kevin Doyle, UK Country Manager for easyJet, said: "We’re delighted to be launching a new route from Southampton to Paris this winter, giving customers in the region another direct and affordable way to reach one of Europe’s most iconic cities.

"This new service is part of our continued growth across the UK, as we focus on strengthening regional connectivity and making travel easy and affordable from local airports."

Holiday packages will also be available through easyJet holidays, including city centre stays and trips to Disneyland Paris, with flight and hotel bundles offered from a £60 deposit.

Chris Tibbett, Aviation Director at AGS Airports, welcomed the announcement.

He said: "We're delighted to see further development of easyJet at Southampton with the news that from this winter it will commence services to Paris Charles De Gaulle.

"The new service will provide an enhanced flight offering to Paris and France's largest hub, along with more ease of connectivity with regular connections from Charles De Gaulle to the ever-growing popular EuroDisney resort.

"This announcement reinforces Southampton Airport’s growing role in connecting the region to key European destinations and reflects the continued demand for high-quality, convenient air services.

"We look forward to working closely with easyJet as they continue to expand their network from Southampton."

Flights and packages are available to book now online and via the airline’s app.
