I have just seen Reform UK’s flier for the Fareham Constituency. I have read their four main policies. I don’t much like them. I find it strange that they don’t include defence, which unfortunately is vital in these dangerous days.
Perhaps more important: I don’t like the people who represent Reform and are responsible for Reform’s policies. They are too close to MAGA (make America Great Again). We are not Americans, much though I like many Americans. But this party is led by a narcissist, who is an inveterate liar and is dragging Reform into his MAGA net. Reform’s head of policy, no less, is a great friend of JD Vance, a man who has made clear that he despises Europe. And I’m afraid, I’m no admirer of those ex-Tories, who more than most helped to torpedo their own party.
Reform, so entangled with lies, cannot “fix” our UK.
