Hampshire hospices have received a share of a £4,982,126 funding boost for urgent repairs and upgrades.
The funding, part of a wider £25m capital investment for hospices across England, is aimed at improving facilities and environments for patients and families.
The money will be used for essential building repairs and improvements to patient rooms, outdoor spaces, and IT equipment.
Thirty hospices across the south east have benefited from the funding.
Stephen Kinnock, Minister of State for Care, said: "I am delighted that this additional cash boost of £5m has now been allocated to hospices across the south east.
"I thank Hospice UK for facilitating this so quickly, so hospices can swiftly contract any vital work and upgrades – making sure patients are being treated in the best possible environment.
"On top of our £125m capital investment in hospices across England, we have pledged £80m over the next three years for children’s hospices.
"And we are transforming palliative and end-of-life care by ending the postcode lottery, so every patient and family can get the high-quality care they deserve."

Naomi House and Jacksplace, a children’s hospice in Sutton Scotney, received £136,851.
Mark Smith, chief executive of Naomi House and Jacksplace, said: "We welcome the additional funding.
"It helps offset some of the additional costs such as the increase from the NI contribution.
"We generally receive less than 15 per cent central funding, with the vast majority of funds coming from the public who continue to support and sustain us, as we operate 24/7, 365 days a year to help local seriously ill children, young adults and families.
"These funds will enable us to continue to invest in buildings, such as refurbishing our family accommodation, our gardens, and facilities for the benefit of our families."
St Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke was awarded £91,823.
Other hospices in the region will also use the funding for critical repairs and improvements to ensure safe, welcoming, and modern care environments.
The capital funding forms part of a larger investment, with £125m allocated to hospices across England over the last two financial years.
This financial support is the largest government investment in hospices in a generation.
A new palliative and end-of-life care framework will be published this year.
