SANTA was real in Winchester this Sunday as more than one thousand runners took to the streets in a fun run for charity.
Naomi House and Jacksplace held their 16th annual Santa Fun Run on December 7, aiming to raise £50,000.

This money would provide a year of care for children and young people at their hospices and care facilities.

Paul Morgan, director of fundraising at Naomi House, said: “It’s magic, truly an event that has grown and grown.
“My encouragement is to give us £5 this Christmas, it makes all the difference in the world to help support life-limited young people and children. We, as a charity, support the most poorly people in our community.”

Also attending the event was the Mayor of Winchester, Councillor Sudhakar Achwal, who started the race with festive words of encouragement.
