A prize-winning pumpkin stole the show at this year’s Littleton and Harestock Show.
Weighing in at an impressive 42.5kg, the vegetable was grown by The Boaz Project, a farm-based charity supporting adults with learning disabilities near Sutton Scotney.
The pumpkin earned first place for the largest entry at the event.
The charity, which operates an allotment at Hill Farm, was one of many groups to take part in the show.
The event, held on Saturday, September 6, drew large crowds who enjoyed a day of entertainment, competitions, and traditional fete games.

Lisa Fielding, chair of the show society, said: "It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves and supporting our annual show.
"The event is only possible thanks to the hard work and support of our volunteers, sponsors, and the local community.
"We’re delighted that this year’s show was such a success as profits of this years show will go to BOAZ, Winchester Youth Counselling, and Home-Start Winchester and Districts."
The showground was filled with stalls, a dog show, children’s rides, live music, and a marquee packed with home-grown produce and crafts.
The afternoon concluded with a raffle draw and prize-giving ceremony.
Next year’s show will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
