Winchester car park partially closed due to Hampshire School Games

The Hampshire School Games are taking place today, Thursday, June 26, at the Winchester Leisure Centre.

The games provide children with the opportunity to be active and try new sports regardless of ability.

While the event is ongoing, part of the Bar End Park and Ride Car Park is closed from 8am to 6pm.

Winchester Leisure Centre has also warned of some disruption to services, with a post on Facebook saying: "Members can expect slight disruptions to our normal timetable, please check on the app and book ahead to ensure your class or session is running.

"All afterschool swimming lessons are continuing and the gym will be open as normal.

"We apologise for the disruption to our normal services and thank you for your understanding."
