Elizabeth Hanratty, the school's headteacher, said: "At 10am on Thursday, December 19, the children all donned their Santa suits and took part in our Santa Fun Run in aid of Naomi House and Jacksplace. I have to say that seeing over 100 mini Santas running round the field was a real sight to behold!

"The children were excellent and supported each other throughout the event ensuring everyone had a wonderful time.

"I am so proud to announce that we raised an absolutely staggering £1249."
