ONE application has been refused by Winchester City Council planning officers using their deferred powers this week.
All the applications had the applicant's names withheld.
In Compton and Shawford, plans to reduce the height of a roof and change its appearance at Stratton Highways Road have been rejected.
All other applications have been approved.
In Denmead, plans to convert a garage with a change of use to form a florist at Kenilworth, Hambledown Road, have been approved.
In Shedfield, an application to remove conditions connected to Shedfield House Dairy, Sandy Lane has been approved.
In Whiteley, a full planning application for flood alleviation bund and flood alleviation channel at North Whiteley Urban Extension, Botley Road, can go ahead.
At 21 Skylark Meadows, plans can proceed to demolish a garage, as well as construct a single storey extension to the rear, build a partial first floor extension, and carry out internal room re-modelling and external material works.
In Winchester Town, an application to carry out water efficiency calculations, Itchen nutrient budget calculations, and a nitrogen and phosphate budget at St George’s House, 18 St George’s Street has been approved.
Plans to build an extension to the rear of 8 St James Lane, West Hill, have got the go ahead. The application also allows for the owners to add a lead awning to the side, carry out landscaping works to improve access from raised rear garden via altered driveway, window repairs and replacement to lower ground, first and second floor, and do some internal reconfiguration to provide master suite to first floor and ensuite to bedroom at rear. New partitions can be added at loft level to create new bedroom, ensuite and storage. Repair works can be carried out throughout the house including insulation to roof and repairs to slate and lead work.
Plans for a new porch extension at the front of 71 Wavell Way, Stanmore, have been approved.
