OFFICERS are investigating today after the body of a woman was discovered in a rural Hampshire lane.
Forensic officers and uniformed police were this morning (Wednesday, September 4) at the scene in Lower Baybridge Lane, near Owslebury.
The body of a woman was found lying next to an abandoned black car yesterday (Tuesday, September 3), officers at the scene have been passersby.
Officers are trying to determine the causes.
Police have taped off a gravel area near the road, with officers investigating both the car and the area surrounding it. The road is close to the back of Marwell Zoo.
A bunch of flowers has been left at the scene.
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for more information.
