THE Chronicle is again taking part in the Heritage Opens Days festival.
The Georgian newspaper office at 5 Upper Brook Street in Winchester will be open to the public this Friday, September 6 from 11am to 1pm.
In previous years it has been a popular event with dozens of people popping in to speak to the journalists, look through back copies of the paper and raise issues and story ideas. A selection of copies of the paper will be available to inspect from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
The Chronicle was founded in 1772 and been based in Winchester ever since without missing an edition.
