AN AMPFIELD man has been fined and banned for six months after he was caught speeding.
Rick Wakefield, 36, of Silver Birches, was caught driving his Volkswagen car at 58 miles per hour in a 50 zone on the A338 at Christchurch.
As well as being fined £238, his licence was revoked for six months.
Wakefield pleaded guilty to the offence at Dorset Magistrates' Court. His case was processed through the Single Justice Procedure.
