Having just read the article about homeless children in Winchester, which I find very sad, I do now understand why the city council chose not to build new homes on the Friarsgate site.
Isn't there a link here? Once more, we all need to stress the need for homes, not shops or businesses or open spaces, but homes.
Please, a roof over the heads of those without and now!
