ONE planning application has been withdrawn from the Winchester City Council planning process this week.
The application, to erect a timber carport for two vehicles at the side of Bluebell Cottage, in Hacks Lane, Crawley, was withdrawn.
All other applications were approved by city council officers using their delegated powers.
In Bishop’s Waltham, plans to build a single storey side extension, garage conversion and new proposed timber frame porch at Crossways, Botley Road, has been approved.
In Compton and Shawford, permission has been granted to update drawings listed in condition two of the application for 27 Grove Road.
In Crawley, plans to construct a farm track from existing buildings at land at New Barn Lane to Main Road has been approved.
In Curdridge, a proposed extension to an existing business unit at The Gables, Calcot Mount, Calcot Lane for Class E use has been permitted.
In Denmead, a proposed loft conversion, including front and rear dormers, has been approved for 27 Creech View.
In Durley, a lawful development certificate has been issued to Copse Mead, Greenwood Lane – the application sought to prove that a residential mobile home has been located upon land known as Copse Mead without the benefit of planning consent for a period of more than 10 years prior to the date of the application.
In Kings Worthy, permission has been granted to change the driveway from grass and tarmac to block paving at 17 Sycamore Drive. Permission has also been given to add a rear pergola and patio, and change the garage door for a window and single door.
In Old Alresford, an application to construct a farm equipment storage area at Fobdown Farm, Abbotstone Road, has been permitted. The application also covers replacing a Dutch barn with photovoltaics on the new roof and the construction of new entrance gates and walls.
In Owslebury, plans to make alterations to an internal ground floor wall at Lowhill Farm House, Portsmouth Road.
In Swanmore, a single storey rear extension with solar panels can be built at 12 Medlicott Way. The application also covered reducing ground levels to the rear garden and building a new retaining wall.
In Winchester Town, retrospective planning permission has been given for the removal of two external ATMs and the installation of one external ATM at Barclay’s Bank, 50 Jewry Street.
At Fonbrig, Old Hillside Road, permission has been given to vary conditions on application 22/00284/HOU to alter roof extensions, change fenestration, and amend materials to matching brickwork and concrete roof tiles, while maintaining vertical timber cladding to rear elevation only.
