A HAMPSHIRE man has been banned from the road for drunk driving.
Brandon Sheppard, 18, of Winchester Road, Waltham Chase, was caught driving a Toyota Aygo on Creek Road, Gosport, on Wednesday, May 15, a court heard.
A breath test revealed that Sheppard had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes.

Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Thursday, June 6, Sheppard pleaded guilty to the crime.
He has been banned from the road for 12 months, which can be reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course by January 6.
Sheppard was also fined £120, and must also pay a £48 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The total amount of £253 was ordered to be paid by July 4.
