TRAINS were disrupted over the weekend while emergency services dealt with a "medical emergency".
British Transport Police cars, an ambulance and a Network Rail incident support vehicle were seen gathering along Station Road, Winchester, at around 9pm on Saturday, July 6.
A passenger reportedly suffered a "medical emergency" on a train traveling from Waterloo to Eastleigh.
The service had to hold at Winchester so the emergency services could attend and aid the passenger.
All other passengers were required to leave the train and minor service alterations were made over the course of Saturday evening.
A Network Rail spokesperson said: “We thank passengers for their patience while the emergency services dealt with this incident.”
The British Transport Police has been contacted for further information.
