Organisers of the Hat Fair, the UK's longest-running festival of outdoor arts, are calling for volunteers for this year's event.
The festival from July 5-7 is a staple in the city streets and green spaces of Winchester, attracts thousands of people each summer.
Visitors enjoy an eclectic mix of street theatre, music, dance, circus, and comedy.
The event, which showcases professional acts, local talent, youth performances, and involves hundreds of school children and community groups in a Carnival, seeks a cohesive volunteer team.
Duties include event setup, attendee assistance, performer liaison, and fundraising efforts.
Eligible volunteers are those 18 years and older with a friendly, responsible disposition.
Such roles offer a great opportunity for gaining festival experience, meeting performers, and enjoying the shows.
Individuals interested in volunteering during June and July can apply via the Hat Fair website.
Those wishing to learn more are encouraged to reach out to Play to the Crowd at volunteers@playtothecrowd.co.uk.
Additionally, Hat Fair provides Corporate Volunteering options for local businesses, with roles ranging from fundraising stalls to audience interaction.
Further details can be obtained by contacting fundraising manager, Becca Moore, at becca@playtothecrowd.co.uk.
