The University of Winchester is hosting cutting-edge research featured in a ground-breaking forensics book.
The work, edited by Anna Chausée, a senior forensics lecturer, and Dr Liam Leonard, a criminology lecturer, focuses on criminal forensics and the latest detection methods.
It is filled with notable contributions from Winchester academics and international experts.
With advances in technology prompting criminals to use extreme measure to avoid detection, the book explores crimes including targeted assassinations, drug smuggling, and cyberterrorism.
Also examined are advancements in AI, Virtual Reality, and DNA analysis techniques.
Dr Leonard said: "The book highlights the best in research from University of Winchester staff, with six contributions from members of the Law, Crime and Justice Faculty. This volume indicates the quality of research that is being undertaken here at Winchester and locates the University amongst the best in kind globally."
His third book published by IGI Global, a world-renowned publication outlet, demonstrates the University's progressive standing in criminal research.
