Your editorial in the paper on May 9 suggests that the Liberal Democrats' electoral success in the Winchester local elections represents an unhealthy stranglehold on power and raises the question of whether one can have too much of a good thing.
If true, surely your argument also applies to the Conservative Party which has a near monopoly of Hampshire county councillors and Hampshire MPs?
