A YORKSHIRE man has been hit with six penalty points for using his mobile phone while driving on the M3.
Kirk Thomas Hall, of Meadow View Road, Sheffield, was caught on the northbound side near junction 10 at Bar End on September 7 2020, a court heard.
Hall, 45, was driving a Lexus RX. He pleaded not guilty on October 2 last year.
He was found guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on March 25.
As well as getting six penalty points, Hall must pay a fine of £336, victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £620. This has to be paid in full by June 25.
