KEVIN Bridges had fans in stitches with his take on the chaos caused by Humza Yousaf booting the Greens out of government.
During a stand-up set at the Monkey Barrel comedy club in Edinburgh, the Clydebank funnyman gave his assessment of Yousaf’s downfall, saying the First Minister had “fucking bailed”.
He said: “We just lost our main man, Humza, he fucking bailed, that’s it. Scottish politics is good at the moment, very fertile ground for humour.

“The First Minister just left a few days after a show of strength when he told the Green party who were in coalition, he stormed in, told them: ‘Fuck off.’

“Then he spent a few days beating himself up: ‘Was I out of order there? Yous fucking told me to dae it…Fuck sake, I’ll just fucking leave.’”

Yousaf triggered a crisis in his administration when he kicked the Scottish Greens out of government, forcing him to step down after it became apparent he would lose a confidence vote.
Former deputy first minister and one-time leader of the SNP John Swinney is set to replace him after forming an alliance with Kate Forbes.
