Man fined for assaulting woman
A WINCHESTER man has been fined for assaulting a woman.
William Davies, 36, of Stanmore Lane, Stanmore, carried out the assault on April 20, a court heard.
Davies pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on April 22.
He has been fined £120, and must also pay costs of £40. The court record did not give an indication of when the total amount of £160 must be paid.
