Flood alerts have been issued across various parts of the Romsey district.
Several areas have had flood alerts updated between April 4 and April 9, with residents urged to 'be prepared' ahead of potential flooding.
Five areas have been earmarked for potential flooding, with all the areas currently under an amber alert, which is a flood alert.
Groundwater levels in all five areas are high due to excessive rainfall seen within the past few weeks, with the water level falling in several locations, but staying high and even increasing in some places.

The flood alerts are in place in the following locations:
- Flood alert for Southampton Water and Hamble;
- Flood alert for Groundwater flooding in Twyford and Hensting;
- Flood alert for Groundwater flooding in Hursley;
- Flood alert for Groundwater flooding in King's Somborne and Little Somborne;
- Flood alert for Groundwater flooding in Pitton, West Tytherley, Nether Wallop and Broughton;
The flood warnings say that water is high in all locations, and rising and lowering in some areas as more rainfall sweeps across the South.
Flood warnings are rated from low risk to high risk, with 'alert' being the lowest warning level, before a 'warning' and a 'severe flood warning'. A severe flood warning can mean danger to life.
