RAIN could not dampen the spirits of revellers at Lainston House Hotel in Sparsholt as they braved the weather to enjoy an afternoon of al fresco entertainment.
Around 150 music-lovers sheltered under their umbrellas as they attended the hotel's Big Band afternoon, which raised £280 for the Honeypot charity.
Even the downpours did not wash out the party spirit as revellers set up chairs and picnic blankets on the hotel lawn and listened to swing and jazz music.
Classics such as Come Fly With Me and Feelin' Good had umbrellas twirling across the green as the band No Straight Chaser provided the entertainment for the event on Sunday, August 3.
Honeypot aims to enhance the lives of very vulnerable children and young carers aged between five and 12 by supporting their social development.
It provides respite care and offers annual visits to the Honeypot House, where they can have fun and meet other young people in similar situations.
