SINGING for fun is held every third Friday of the month in Bishop's Waltham. 
The next session is on April 19 at The Stables, Free Street, from 2pm to 3.30pm. 
It costs £2 including refreshments.
Enjoy singing well-known folk songs.
No talent required. All ages welcome.

A QUIZ night will be held at Bishop's Waltham United Free Church on April 27.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. 
It costs £10 per person, including a Ploughman’s Supper. Bring your own drinks and nibbles, but no alcohol. 
In aid of church building fund. Teams of six or join a team on the night.

DURLEY Church Fete will be held this summer. 
It will be at Wintershill Hall, Sciviers Lane, on June 15, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. 
Traditional village fete, lunches, teas, music and stalls.
Entrance £2, under 16 free.

BISHOP'S Waltham Rotary is running a charity fashion show in aid of Breast Cancer Now. 
It will be held on Thursday, April 18 at Jubilee Hall, with doors open at 6.30pm and the fashion show starting at 7.30pm. 
Tickets cost £15 and are available from Labels and Luvvit, High Street and includes a glass of Prosecco and canapes.

SHEDFIELD Social Club is an 80s themed quiz. 
The event will be held on April 20, at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. 
Mullets, shoulder-pads and double denim are optional.

THE Meon Voices choir is preparing for its spring concert.
It will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 7.30pm at St. Peter's Church. 
A choir spokesman said: “Prepare yourself for an evening of stirring melodies. Our talented choir, featuring soprano, alto, tenor, and bass sections, will showcase rich harmonies and beautiful soundscapes. From the timeless works of Gershwin and John Rutter to the captivating sounds of Vaughan Williams, a touch of Cabaret flair, and even a sprinkle of Adele, there's something for everyone in this diverse programme.
“Unwind during the interval with a refreshing cup of tea, coffee, and biscuits.
“Admission is completely free. We'll have a cash collection at the end, with proceeds being generously shared between the choir and the church's chosen charities.”
