Hampshire-based PLANETS Cancer Charity is urging the public to join its 100-mile cycle challenge to raise £50,000.

The ‘Dawn to Dusk’ event already has 50 participants including doctors, nurses, patients, and charity supporters, and will take place on Saturday, June 22.

Open to all abilities, the cycle challenge will start in Winchester, ending in East Huntspill, Somerset. Participants will be rewarded with celebrations at a unique farm featuring lodges, glamping pods and yurts.

The funds have significantly helped establish patient support groups across the south coast and the UK’s first mobile electron beam radiotherapy based in Southampton University Hospital.
