On April 18, dance lovers will have the opportunity to observe the art of international choreographers at Theatre Royal Winchester as mapdance performs.

The contemporary dance show will include three new performances, combining dance-theatre with energetic and fast-paced choreography.

'Dear Body,' a choreographed work by Swiss artist Renaud Wiser, will depict the pride and delicacy of the human form through expressive dance.

Director and performer Carrie Whitaker’s Thought in the Dark will delve into concepts surrounding individuality and transformation.

Lastly, Yukiko Masui, a choreographer hailing from Tokyo, presents For Seasons, a modish interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

In addition, the presentation will feature a reimagining of Sarah Golding’s work, State, probing varying methods of manifesting music through bodily movements.

The University of Chichester’s touring performance company, Mapdance, will facilitate this artistic display.

To ensure accessibility, the event offers a Pick Your Price scheme, permitting attendees to choose a ticket price that suits them, commencing at just £8.

The evening show, mapdance 2024, will commence at 7pm. It is considered suitable for audiences aged 12 and above.
