A new sweet shop has opened in Winchester as a business expands from its existing location in the city.
Sweet Station opened in Upper Brook Street on Wednesday, March 27, expanding from the shop owners' existing Old Fashioned Sweetie Shop, based in 62 High Street.
The store in High Street, which has been open for 15 years, will remain open and continue to serve traditional sweets.

With trade increasing, owner Judith Burnett decided to expand, opening a new store called 'Sweet Station' in Upper Brook Street, in the store formerly occupied by Bella Ling.
Judith said the move had been made so customers would have more room to have a look at all the sweets on offer, as well as providing extra space for families with pushchairs, and easier access for those with disabilities.
The expansion had initially been discussed in August 2023 ahead of a Christmas opening, but this didn't materialise, with the shop opening for the first time ahead of the Easter weekend.
Sweet Station boasts a selection of sweets and chocolate treats, including an extended pick and mix station and a larger supply of sweets imported from other countries such as America.

Also on sale are cold drinks, as well as plans to include a slush machine and ice cream fridge going forward.
Ms Burnett said: "We're thrilled to have had the opportunity to expand to our new premises on Upper Brook Street. The Old Fashioned Sweetie Shop will remain open, but this location gives us more room to increase our stock and options for what we can put on the shelves, as well as being more accessible for customers, particularly families, those on the school run and people with disabilities.
"The new store has a nice wide open layout, is very colourful and vibrant, and has more of a modern feel. It's also allowed us to create a larger and more extensive choice of sweets, increasing our stock of imported goodies which we know customers will love.
"Going forward we hope to install a slush machine and a ice cream fridge, ready for the hot summer season ahead. Come down and give us a try!"
