BUTTERFLIES was the title of Stephen Cooper’s set of images that won the print category of Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club’s recent panel trophies evening.

Members were invited to submit three related images, producing a panel or triptych.

The judge, Mark Lanigan, described it as an interesting, creative and unusual panel. Margaret Cooper took second place in the print category with Spring is in the Air.

In the projected digital image category Brian Whittaker had a very successful evening. He took first place with Standing Still; the judge said was everything he was looking for in a panel. Brian also took second place with Patterns in the Sand, as well as being awarded a seal of merit for another image.

Terry Jamieson came third with 3 at Swan Centre. Seals of merit were also awarded to Margaret Cooper, Julie Cousens, Lynn Lambeth, Pete Robertson and Louise Sampson.

Viewfinders meet most Tuesdays at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury and new members, regardless of photographic experience, are always welcome.
