POLICE are holding a meeting to help cyclists protect their bikes from theft.
Officers from the Winchester City Neighbourhood Policing Team will host a Bike Register event on Saturday, March 30 from 2pm to 5pm at Kings Walk in Silver Hill.
The session allows you to have your pushbike marked with a Bike Register QR code. Your information will also be registered onto the Bike Register database.

The idea of Bike Register is to increase the chance of lost and stolen bikes being returned to their owner.
The Police will not store any information provided at the Bike Register session, the information will be shared with Bike Register only.
Crime prevention advice will also be provided as well as signing people up to the new Hampshire Alert system.
The Bike Register website can be found on bikeregister.com
