Cricket legend Nasser Hussain OBE will headline a star-studded charity evening at Churcher's College on April 24.
This extraordinary event will provide an arena for cricketing fans to hear firsthand remarkable tales and insights by Hussain, celebrating an illustrious career which saw him captain the England team from 1999 to 2003.
Hussain's accomplishments include more than 30,000 runs from over 650 matches across first-class and List-A cricket, including an Ashes Test score of 207 described as "touched by genius" by Wisden.
Hussain will share his thoughts on the current state of cricket and his views on leadership, expected to captivate all ages of listeners.
The event is in aid of Maddy’s Mark, a charity established in memory of Maddy Lawrence, a young woman who tragically lost her life to sepsis in March 2022, after a rugby injury.
The charity focuses on promoting health and wellbeing in young women through rugby, a sport that Maddy passionately championed.
Tickets are available on ChurchersCollege.com with all proceeds directed to the charity.
The special evening commences at 5.45pm and includes a Q and A with Hussain, an auction, a welcoming drink and an open cash bar.
