The road is expected to reopen around 3pm on Sunday, March 24. Kiln Lane can be accessed at either end, Otterbourne Hill or Highbridge Road, but drivers can not pass the railway bridge.

The lane was closed with immediate affect on Monday, March 18.

Brambridge Park Garden Centre remains open.

A spokesman for Network Rail said: "The road is closed until Sunday (with a traffic management plan agreed with the council) because Network Rail’s contractors need the access so that they can replace the roof of an electrical sub-station next to the railway. This is related to the railway’s power supply."
