MUSLIMS in Winchester are settling into their new home with a string of community events.
In January, the Winchester Muslim Community Association completed the purchase of Hyde Parish Hall on Hyde Street to use as its new mosque, the first in the city.
On March 3 they held a Ramadan workshop, which gave local people the opportunity to find out more and ask questions about its significance.
The next event will be a community iftar meal on March 31. The association is inviting friends and neighbours.
