ONE application was refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week.

In Alresford, Andy and Gina Collingwood's application was refused for an open front porch at Sycamores, 6 Fair View. 

All other applications were permitted. 

In Bishop's Waltham, Graham Collett can have polytunnels for the production of soft fruit and berries on agricultural land at Ford Farm, Botley Road. 

Sam Bibby, in Colden Common, had an application permitted for the removal of boundary trees and a replacement timber fence at 40 Pennington Close

Richard Cooper's application for a replacement dayroom at Ashbrook Stables, Main Road, was permitted.

In Denmead, Sally Deal had an application permitted to replace an open porch with an oak framed glazed porch at Mill Cottage, 27 Mill Road. 

Tina Dance's application was permitted for a rural worker's dwelling and removal of existing mobile home upon occupancy at Little Oakdale, Durley Hall Lane, Durley. 

In Alresford, Mr and Mrs Seymour had an application permitted for alternative single storey replacement extensions at Victoria Cottage, Basingstoke Road. 

In Shedfield, Julie Cuming's application was permitted for the permanent retention of timber structure for the occupation of an equine worker at Bonichase Stables, Clewers Hill. 

Mr and Mrs Baker, in South Wonston, had an application permitted for an infill to the front canopy under the first floor to create a large hallway and w/c. This is at The March Hares, 29 Blackthorn Close. 

Mr Cowley had an application permitted for a single storey side extension, roof alterations including two front dormers, elevational alterations and front porch canopy at 26 Downs Road. 

Daran Adams, in Upham, had an application permitted for a new single storey stable block at     Park Cottage, Wintershill. 

In Winchester, Julian Griffith's application was permitted for a new house on land to the rear of 24 Quarry Road. 

Rob Hitchcox had an application permitted for the replacement of a conservatory with two storey extension to the south; construction of full gable roof to main house and flat roof to garage; pitched roof extension and garage conversion to create living accommodation; addition of car port and store to site entrance. This is at Orchard House, 107 Andover Road. 

Mark White can have 17 additional PV panels and six EV charging points as well as build a new bike shed in the parking area at Old Hyde House, 75 Hyde Street. 

Matt Oliver had an application permitted for works at 55 St Cross Road.
