FOUR people, including a police officer, were injured outside a Winchester pub.

Officers were called to Alfie's, in The Broadway, in the early hours on Saturday, March 9. 

Two women and a 17-year-old boy were arrested.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “We were called at 2.12am on Saturday, March 9 to a report of a public order incident outside Alfie’s pub in High Street in Winchester.

“Three men were assaulted and suffered minor injuries. Police attended the scene and an officer also suffered minor injuries.

“A 37-year-old woman from Huddersfield was arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault and assault by beating of an emergency worker. She has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue. 

“A 19-year-old woman from Havant was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating. She was given a conditional caution. 

“A 17-year-old boy from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of common assault. He has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.”
