ROMSEY Bowling Club has raised more than £100 with a fundraising Skittles Evening.
Taking place at the British Legion club on Love Lane on Saturday, March 9, the evening saw Bob Weeks achieve the highest score for the men, while Tina Stokes had the highest lady’s score.
This was then followed by a game of Killer, which saw players drop out one by one until there was a final battle between Pete Morton and eventual winner Martin Hull.

During the evening, attendees had quiz sheets to fill out, with the winners of the quiz being Pete and Jane Morton and Jane and Colin Russell.
The club wanted to thank Shiela and Alan Brightmore for organising the event, which raised £184 for club funds, and the British Legon for the venue.
The new season of bowling starts on April 20. Anyone interested in the club and what it does can attend a public open day held on May 18.
