A PUBLIC toilet in a Hampshire village is closed after it was vandalised.

The men's toilet at New Road, Swanmore, was found with the hand gel ripped off the wall and toilet paper thrown around.

Hampshire Chronicle: Swanmore toilet vandalised

On Swanmore Parish Council's Facebook page, it said: “The men's toilet at New Road is closed due to vandalism (again!). They will be closed until our cleaners can get in and do a deep clean.

“As always CCTV will be reviewed and hopefully those responsible identified and banned. Sorry for the inconvenience caused while they are closed.”

This is not the first time vandals have attacked the toilets, which are next to the village's skatepark.

A series of incidents saw the block vandalised last year and four youths were given community orders after they caused £1,500 of damage.
