ROMSEY Rugby Club is preparing to host its highly anticipated annual beer festival.

It will be held on June 21 and 22 at the Ganger Farm sport pavilion.

In collaboration with Cocky Anchor and sponsored by Pure Human Resources, this year's event promises to be the biggest yet.

There will be a selection of local and regional beers as well as entertainment and food.

Tickets cost £10 and includes a commemorative glass, half-pint of real ale, live music and an event programme with tasting notes.

A shuttle bus will be available to and from the town centre for a small donation.

Steph Fosh, managing director of Pure Human Resources, said: “As a local business, we are pleased to support Romsey Rugby Club with their beer festival. We are looking forward to sampling ales from across the region at what promises to be a fantastic event.”

Ian Paxton, managing director of Cocky Anchor and Anchor Maintenance, said: “The Cocky Anchor is thrilled to be a part of the festivities at the Romsey Rugby Club Beer Festival. This year, we are proud to showcase Worcestershire's brewing excellence, strengthened by our new connections to the region. Having launched our micropub in Worcester last year, we've uncovered remarkable breweries and new ales for you to try, offering a delightful blend of exciting new flavours alongside our Hampshire classics – ensuring there's something for every palate.

“I look forward to this fantastic event and am excited about our partnership with Romsey Rugby Club. It's not just about great beer; it's a celebration of craft beer, good food, live music, and camaraderie, all in collaboration with some fantastic brewers.”
