SEVERAL caravans have pitched up on a private car park in Winchester.
At least eight large caravans were seen parked on the Hampshire County Council staff car park next to the Household Recycling Centre in Bar End.
Around 20 travellers' caravans pitched up at the same spot in April last year.
When the Chronicle visited the site, many of the caravans were hooked up to generators with work vans dotted around.
The Household Recycling Centre was open as usual.
Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire County Council have been approached for a comment.
