COMPTON and Shawford's Festival Choir is holding a come and sing event featuring Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. 
It will be held on Sunday, February 25 at Colden Common Community Centre, with registration at 10.30am, ready to start at 11am. 
There will be a performance at 4pm for family and friends.

A WELL known blues guitarist is performing a concert in Twyford.
Aynsley Lister will be at St Mary's Church on Saturday, February 17, with doors open at 7pm.

COLDEN Common Community Pantry is appealing for new donations.
They currently need tinned food, unopened packets of dry food, jars and cleaning items.
Pasta and rice is not popular, unless it's in a sachet or a tin. Tinned vegetables are not in demand except tomatoes. Personal hygiene items go very quickly. 
The pantry operates from Colden Common Community Centre.

AN indoor car boot sale will be held at Colden Common Community Centre. 
It will be on Saturday, February 17 from 10am-1pm.
For sellers, it costs £5 per table, arriving at 8am to set up.

A HEALTH and wellbeing expo is being held in Twyford. 
The event is at Twyford Parish Hall on Sunday, February 25, starting at 11am. 
On the event's Facebook page, it said: “There are some phenomenal local small businesses showcasing their bespoke and unique products and services, from crystals, natural products, spiritual and mediumship readings amongst many others.
“There are refreshments available including vegetarian and vegan, with a fantastic selection of hot food too.”
Admission costs £2 with under 16s going free. There is also a free raffle ticket included. 

A SPRING makers market is coming to Colden Common in March.
It will be held at the community centre On Sunday, March 3 from 1pm-4pm.
There will be a wide range of stalls including local artists, printmakers, crafts, jewellery, ceramics, woodcraft and more.
Refreshments will be available. Entry costs 50p. 

COLDEN Common Neighbourhood Watch is holding an open meeting. 
It will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 7pm at the Michael King Pavilion Recreation Ground, in Main Road.
The is a chance for people to find out how they can prevent and detect crime in the village. Also how to support elderly and vulnerable neighbours. 

A GUIDES group is hosting a Thinking Day Quiz.
The quiz, organised by 1st Colden Common Guides, is on Wednesday, February 21, from 7.30pm-9pm.
It will be held at Colden Common Community Centre with refreshments and a raffle available. Tickets cost £3 each and teams can be a maximum of eight people.
