I am now 83 years old and walked to my local shop at 6am when it is still dark to collect my daily paper.
Fortunately, I was carrying a torch as the number of waste bins blocking the pavement was awful.
At one stage I had to cross the slippery grass verge and walk on the road as the pavement was totally blocked.
What is the matter with this city council when only last year I had to beg them to clear the steps leading to Badger Farm. Is it a plot to ensure that the elderly, people with prams and the disabled stay at home.
