I am writing about homelessness.
There was an article about this in this paper in January. In spite of excellent support services in our city, homelessness continues to be an issue.
It seems to me people in this situation need our help and support. This is supposed to be a wealthy city!
Sadly, I have read, in the 107-page document from Hampshire County Council, that they are proposing to cut funding in support of homeless people. I view such action with sadness.
I hope others would agree with me, that cutting funding to those most in need is not a good course of action.
