FURTHER traffic chaos in Winchester is expected on the one-way system due to new road works.
A week after Southern Water finished repairing a water leak on St George's Street, the road is facing another lane closure while Openreach carries out works for British Telecom.
According to One Network, the telecom company is working to replace a collapsing cover in the carriageway not far from where Southern Water worked earlier this month.
One Network, which provides up-to-date information on road closures and road works, says that the repairs are estimated to take place from Wednesday, January 31 to Sunday, February 11.
